It is important to see us at least once every six months for a professional exam and cleaning. Regular visits are essential for maintaining oral health. Based on what we find during your appointment, we may recommend that you come see us more often.
Root canal therapy is a method to save an infected tooth. The innermost area of the tooth is called the pulp and when this area becomes infected as a result of bacteria that reaches it, then a root canal is necessary. The procedure begins with anesthesia to numb the tooth and surrounding tissue. Dr. Berger will enter the innermost area of the tooth and remove the bacteria and infection. He will also clean the location with medicine. The tooth is then sealed with a crown to restore it to optimum health and function.
